After an amazing summer, its time for a news flash from The Stretch. We are going to be hitting the road again and traveling around the Midwest. We have dates in Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin and more to come. So check out the shows tab, mark your calendar, and come on tour with us. Also, pick up a copy of Relix magazine as we are featured on the complication CD that comes with every issue. We have new videos on YouTube and many of our best shows are now featured on Archive.org. After lots of contemplation and suggestions, Uncle Boogie Pants has officially changed their name to "The Stretch." The new website will be available shortly at www.thestretchmusic.com Thank you to all of the fans who have continued to support The Stretch. Rothbury was a huge success and the band is looking forward to a great summer. -Flea

Uncle Boogie Pants certainly has the jamband blueprint down straight: Volume and Verse is full of ripping guitar solos, carefully calculated compositions and tight multi part harmonies. The quartet is able to smoothly accelerate speed within a matter of minutes, handle jazzy delicacies like faberge eggs and find a fun hook amidst a prog jam.

Our show time has been confirmed and we'll be kicking off day 2 of the festival; Noon at the Saloon on Thursday July 24th. Here's a nifty 3D map of the festival sight to help you find your way. We're the only band playing at that time slot, so wake up with Uncle Boogie Pants.....at the Saloon!
05/01/08: THANKS TO YOU, WE'RE HEADED TO 10,000 LAKES!
Thanks to the amazing turn out of fans, friends, and family at the "Cosmic Break Battle of the Bands" this past weekend, Uncle Boogie Pants won and will be playing at this years 10,000 Lakes Festival! It's an incredible opportunity for us and we're excited beyond words.
To those of you who came out to support us, we can't thank you enough! It really means the world to us. You guys, and gals, are the ABSOLUTE GREATEST!!
